Transitions - Facing Aging as a Family

The gifts and challenges that come with aging affect the whole family," says Reverend Adam Blons. "We hope this event connects families to community resources so that they can face the challenges of aging with dignity, creativity, and stronger relationships. We invite elders and family members to attend the fair together. It's an opportunity to limit the sense of isolation that can surround us as we grow older.

Ancient Stones of Israel and Palestine

The first in a 2-part series, Ancient Stones and Living Stones. SPUCC members Becky & Bob Galkiewicz traveled to Israel and Palestine in January as part of a group of 12 from the Minnesota Conference UCC, witnessing both the ancient stones (archaeological remains) and living stones (human voices speaking to faith in today's world) in these lands. This session will feature pictures of the Holy Sites and secular places they visited, including Bethlehem, Jerusalem, the Dead Sea area, the River Jordan, towns around the Sea of Galilee, the Mount of the Beatitudes, and Nazareth. To (perhaps) walk on stones that Jesus and the prophets trod! All are welcome.
