Day One:
“Searching for Change and Changing the Search: New Tools and Terrain”

Join the Rev. Malcolm Himschoot, UCC Minister for Ministerial Transitions, for a hands-on demonstration and workshop on the new Snapshot and Profile tools. Bring questions and expect interaction. Recommended: pre-register for a profiles account ahead of time at https://uccprofiles.ucc.org.

Survey the nationwide terrain for ministry through UCC Ministry Opportunities. Learn about the new Snapshot for all ministers, four UCC categories for terms of service, and the improved Ministerial Profile for those in Search and Call. Explore networking and self-presentation together with colleagues.

All Members in Discernment and authorized ministers, as well as interested mentors, advisors, staff and volunteers, are welcome.

Rev. Malcolm Himschoot, UCC Minister for Ministerial Transitions

Rev. Malcolm Himschoot serves as UCC Minister for Ministerial Transitions with the Ministerial Excellence, Support and Authorization (MESA) Team. He lives in Cleveland with his family and some urban chickens.

MESA works collaboratively with the 38 conferences of the United Church of Christ to achieve continuity and creativity, consistency and faithful imagination for the work of authorized ministry.
